When your making an avoider the only thing that needs to be programmed is the collision detection. You need to make sure people don't cheat with MOUSE_LEAVE and do better collision. This can be done by upping the fps, thickening the hittest of walls (everything except the path should be untouchable) or using a projection system to see if the mouse is touching.

I dislike the game modes though... solo play doesnt always feel right, I think you need like a campaign like thing or at least something with levels. Regardless its fun. How do you make that preloader effect... I cannot find any masking tutorial that will teach it.

You have the basis for a game... now make one. Right now it's basically a geometry wars clone with poor controls. Music is average, not bad but I wasn't dancing to it and graphics are pretty. Make a second version and be a bit more original

this is a poor game. really, you shouldn't submit 1st games to ng unless you have a god-given talent. i dislike because of the strange touch-sensitive physics, the ball not having true rotation, and your very small knowledge of collision detections. these things to fix are like 50 lines of code and not implementing them made for a bad experience. 1/5

Thanks for the review. I know that you are calling me stupid, but I'm not going to have a fit like many babies on Newgrounds do when they get a bad review. I'm a lot better now, though, and fixed the collision detection.

amazing graphics man, keep up the good work. try to make the next one in as3 and remember to take out unnecessary code becaus ethe game gets really laggy... through rarly unplayable.
